Today, the Kehl family shares ownership of the Elite Casino Resorts, LLC so that they can offer visitors all across the United States a fun Vegas-style casino experience. Their first riverboat, which just so happened to be the first one given a gaming operator’s license in Iowa, quickly grew until the family owned four riverboat casinos. Back in the 1960’s, they opened their first cafe before moving on to riverboat gaming. Elite Casino Resorts, who operates a collection of unique resort properties including this one, was founded by the Kehl family. Grand Falls Casino & Golf Resort is a hotel wedding venue located in Larchwood, Iowa, which also serves the Sioux Falls and Rapid City areas.
